India’s first geological park is being set up at Lamhetta village in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh.
The Geological Survey of India (GSI) has given permission to set up a geopark.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 35 crore.

Lieutenant General GAV Reddy has been appointed Director General of the Defense Intelligence Agency. He will replace Lieutenant General KJS Dillon.

Life Insurance Corporation ranks 10th globally in the list of insurance brands, according to a brand rating report released by Brand Finance.
China’s ping on insurance is number one. LIC is the only Indian insurance company in the top 10 list. LIC is valued at $ 8.656 billion (approximately Rs. 64,722 crore).
According to Brand Finance, LIC’s market capitalization will reach Rs 43.40 lakh crore ($ 59.21 billion) in 2022 and Rs 58.9 lakh crore ($ 78.63 billion) in 2027.
The Federal Government has approved the continuation of the National Sports Federation (NSFs) Assistance Program for the XV Finance Commission Rule (2021-22 to 2025-26).
The cost of the project for the next five years is Rs. 1575 crore. The program is administered by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. It is also the main source of funding for preparing national teams for all major national and international competitions, including the Olympics.

The theme of 2022 is hope and spiritual leadership to combat stigma and conflict during the epidemic recovery. Commonly referred to as the OMG Exploration Mission, the study of Greenland’s melting oceans was initiated by NASA. This is a five-year research project. It ended on December 31, 2021.
This study primarily measures snow loss in the Greenland region. The study says that if all the ice in Greenland melts, world sea levels will rise to 7.4 meters.
