2. Scientists have discovered a new microscopic crustacean species, Indiaphonte bijoyi, in Lakshadweep’s Kavaratti lagoon.
- நாசாவின் (NASA) ஆர்டெமிஸ் II (Artemis II) விண்வெளி ஆய்வுத் திட்டம், 1972-ஆம் ஆண்டிற்குப் பிறகு முதன்முறையாக விண்வெளி வீரர்களை நிலவைச் சுற்றி வர அனுப்பவுள்ளது. இதற்கான ஏவுதல் பிப்ரவரி மாதம் திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
2. லட்சத்தீவின் கவரட்டி பவளப்பாறை பகுதியில் ‘இந்தியாஃபோன்டே பிஜோயி’ (Indiaphonte bijoyi) என்ற புதிய நுண்ணிய வகை ஓடுடைய கணுக்காலி (Crustacean) இனத்தை விஞ்ஞானிகள் கண்டறிந்துள்ளனர்.
