SUBJECT: HISTORY (ART AND CULTURE)

  • Originated in Andhra Pradesh.
  • Named after the village Kuchipudi in Krishna District.
  • A blend of Natya(Drama), Nritta(Pure Dance), and Nritya (Expressive Dance).
  • Traditionally performed as a dance-drama based on Hindu religious themes, especially from texts like Bhagavata Purana.
  • Bright costumes with unique pleated designs.
  • Elaborate jewelry and facial expressions.
  • Accompanied by Carnatic music.
  • Instruments include mridangam, violin, and veena
  • Use of hand gestures (Mudras)to narrate stories.
  • Focus on both graceful body movements and facial expressions (Abhinaya)

2. ONE NATION ONE ELECTION AND REPRESENTATIVE DEMOCRACY

3. 36% OF TB PATIENTS IN FOUR T.N DISTRICTS ARE MIGRANTS

  • Free diagnostics and treatment, with financial support under Nikshay Poshan Yojana.

4. SIANG PROJECT TO HELP AVERT FLOODS IF CHINA RELEASES EXCESS WATER

SUBJECT: GEOGRAPHY

  • Part of the Brahmaputra system originating in Tibet.
  • Flows through Arunachal Pradesh into Assam and Bangladesh
  • Dual objectives:
  • Flood Mitigation: Addresses risks posed by excess water released by China.

5. ALL EYES ON PSLV – C60 MISSION AS ISRO LOOKS TO END 2024 ON A HIGH
