- சான்சிபாரில் (Zanzibar) நடைபெற்ற 4-வது கூட்டு பாதுகாப்பு ஒத்துழைப்புக் குழு (JDCC) கூட்டத்தில் இந்தியா மற்றும் தான்சானியா இடையே பாதுகாப்பு ஒத்துழைப்பு விரிவுபடுத்தப்பட்டது. இதில் சைபர் பாதுகாப்பு, செயற்கை நுண்ணறிவு (AI) மற்றும் விமானப்படை ஒத்துழைப்பு ஆகியவற்றில் புதிய கவனம் செலுத்தப்பட்டது.
2. திவாகர் ஜெயந்த், கடற்படை ஆயுதப் பிரிவின் (Naval Armament) தலைமை இயக்குநராகப் பொறுப்பேற்றுக்கொண்டார். இவர் பாதுகாப்புத் துறையில் 33 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலான அனுபவம் கொண்டவர்.
