- The inaugural Khelo India Tribal Games (KITG) will be held from 25 March to 6 April in Raipur, Jagdalpur and Sarguja in Chhattisgarh, featuring seven medal sports to promote tribal sporting talent across India.
- RM Nachammai has become the first woman to head operations of a functional nuclear power plant in India, appointed as Chief Superintendent of Kaiga Generating Station Units 3 and 4 in Karnataka, effective 15 March 2026.
1. கேலோ இந்தியா பழங்குடியினர் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள் (KITG): இந்தியாவின் பழங்குடியின விளையாட்டுத் திறமைகளை ஊக்குவிக்கும் வகையில், முதலாவது ‘கேலோ இந்தியா பழங்குடியினர் விளையாட்டுப் போட்டிகள்’ மார்ச் 25 முதல் ஏப்ரல் 6 வரை சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநிலத்தின் ராய்ப்பூர், ஜக்தல்பூர் மற்றும் சர்குஜா ஆகிய இடங்களில் நடைபெறவுள்ளன. இதில் ஏழு பதக்கப் போட்டிகள் (Medal Sports) இடம்பெறவுள்ளன.
2. ஆர்.எம். நாச்சம்மை: இந்தியாவில் இயங்கி வரும் அணுமின் நிலையம் ஒன்றின் செயல்பாடுகளுக்குத் தலைமை தாங்கும் முதல் பெண்மணி என்ற பெருமையை ஆர்.எம். நாச்சம்மை பெற்றுள்ளார். இவர் கர்நாடகாவில் உள்ள கைகா அணுமின் நிலையத்தின் (Kaiga Generating Station) 3 மற்றும் 4-வது அலகுகளின் தலைமை கண்காணிப்பாளராக (Chief Superintendent) மார்ச் 15, 2026 முதல் பொறுப்பேற்க உள்ளார்.
